...I often tell this story to the students I work with so that they understand that our inner Decision affects our future!!! If I had meekly fulfilled the director's task when I was cast for the role of Petya Trofimov, then I would not have had a question for maestro Jerzy Hoffman about my violation of the "taboo" of the director - he would not have seen me, I would not have reminded him of myself, he would not have approved me for the role of Lenin, Rauf Kubaev he would not have written the role of the authority who played Lenin in the zone on me!..
